Why Krewe of Barkus is the Cutest Mardi Gras Parade Ever

What better way to kick off the carnival season than by seeing a parade of the cutest canines in town?

The Mystic Krewe of Barkus was created in November 1992. Barkus considers itself to be the dog equivalent of Bacchus. The Queen is always a rescued or adopted female dog. All proceeds of the parade and ball profits are donated to animal welfare groups. This year the theme was BARK WARS: The Return of the K9.
